DriveTech Advantage

DriveTech is one of the leading business driver training, assessment, education and driver awareness scheme providers in the UK, founded nearly 20 years ago originally to meet the needs of business and fleet drivers.

And we’re a big name in driver training policy too, with membership of the Parliamentary Advisory Council for Transport Safety (PACTS), the Association of Driver Improvement Service Providers (ANDISP) and leading trade association ACFO.

DriveTech has created award-winning schemes for driver risk management and won the 2007 Bank of Scotland Corporate Entrepreneurial Challenge for South England and South Wales.

As well as Advantage, Drivetech has four other parts to its business:

Driveraware
DriveTech runs a number of driver awareness schemes – sometimes known as police diversionary schemes – which are a positive alternative to receiving points on your driving licence and a fine.  These include: Driver Improvement (after a crash); Speed, Mobile Phone, Traffic Light, Seat Belt Awareness and Rider Improvement programmes.

The DriveTech Academy
From the day it launched, DriveTech has set the highest training standards for its own staff through a dedicated training department; offering both academic and practical training programmes.   This has included re-training driving instructors (ADIs) to DriveTech’s exacting standards, enabling them to qualify for the DSA Fleet Register.

Now the training department has expanded to become The DriveTech Academy and is set to offer DriveTech’s training skills to other organisations which require extremely high training standards for its staff, in areas such as driver instruction, risk assessment and Health and Safety.
