The National Speed Awareness Scheme encourages people to alter their attitudes towards excessive or inappropriate speed.
Offered as an alternative to a speeding fine and penalty points, the speed awareness course helps drivers to understand why people drive above the speed limit and the potential consequences of speeding.
The course lasts 4 hours, and the price depends on the venue location you choose.
The National Speed Awareness Scheme is run throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland by a selection of training providers.
To view all course locations that are available please visit offer.ndors.org.uk. You will need your driving licence number to hand. To view additional information on this national scheme please visit ndors.org.uk.
'Speeding courses' are offered nationwide, and many are part of the National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme (NDORS) supported by the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO).
