Speed Awareness Scheme implementation made simpler1 August 2008Thames Valley Police (TVP) has now published a National Driver Offender Re-training Scheme (NDORS) framework agreement, as a result of an extensive tendering process it completed earlier this year. This enables any police authority to exploit the contractual agreement it has with TVP’s preferred supplier, DriveTech (UK) plc, in the following driver awareness/police diversionary schemes; • Speed Awareness Scheme (*ANDISP National Model) In addition, DriveTech also operates the following TVP schemes: The TVP Framework agreement ensures that police authorities can minimise their procurement and implementation costs/time, as well as delivering nationally compliant and consistent education to offending drivers. In addition, DriveTech provides proven, interactive and professional delivery and a robust booking/administration system, both online and by phone, across all the schemes that it operates. In addition, NDORS provides a mechanism of generating income for other road safety initiatives which can be detailed in each force’s individual Service Level Agreement.
