The apparent social acceptance of driving at speed by some road users must be challenged to prevent and, hopefully, reduce the number of deaths on our roads. We can begin to do this through educating people who persist in driving at excessive speeds.

DriveTech is our key partner in the Thames Valley Speed Awareness Scheme (SAS) and Driver Improvement Scheme (DIS). By utilising DriveTech's experience and expertise in modifying the motorist's attitude, behaviour and competences, built up over a number of years, we will ultimately reduce deaths and serious injuries on the roads.

We will be introducing, through DriveTech, additional courses that cover other motoring offences, starting with seatbelt offenders.
