Online tool acts like virtual administrator29 April 2008DriveTech (UK) plc (Stand M67) will reveal today at the Fleet Business Show (Business Design Centre, Islington, London, April 29 and 30) a revised version of its DrivingMonitor product, the only system a fleet manager will ever need to manage fleet safety effectively and remain compliant with the ever increasingly amount of health and safety-related legislation. DrivingMonitor is a web-based management tool that provides the fleet manager not only with a wealth of information in real time but also extensive management capability. Think of it as a virtual member of staff. There are nine distinct elements to DrivingMonitor and customers can elect to take as many as they wish, dependant upon their needs: RiskMonitor TrainingMonitor LicenceMonitor AccidentMonitor FleetMonitor TaskMonitor CompanyMonitor PracticalMonitor
ContactMonitor “We believe that DrivingMonitor can be a vital aid to anybody with responsibility for running a fleet”, says Jim Kirkwood, DriveTech’s Managing Director, “particularly those who do not have much in the way of staff resource. DrivingMonitor can act as the repository of all the information that you would need to prove compliance with employee duty of care in the event of an investigation by the authorities. “A lot of organisations actually have most pieces of the duty of care jigsaw in place but so often they are fragmented and difficult to demonstrate as a holistic programme. DrivingMonitor brings all the various strands together in a practical and visible manner.” Editor's Notes DriveTech (UK) plc is one of the UK’s leading providers of road risk management, driver assessment and education.
