Steve Johnson, Director of Communications (centre) receiving the Green Fleet Award 2008.

Last Thursday night, before an audience of some 300 industry peers (and the Deputy Mayor of London) at Twickenham Rugby Ground, DriveTech was awarded the accolade ‘Driver Training Company of the Year’ in the 2008 Green Fleet Awards. Please see http://www.greenfleet.net/content/view/399/113/ for an overview of the award entry.

Steve Johnson, Director of Communications said “We’re obviously delighted to receive this prestigious award. Indeed, it’s also important recognition of what we do, particularly as there is now considerable industry wide interest in products and services that both reduce fleet running costs and environmental impact. In addition, at the exhibition and conference during the day, we received a lot of interest in our Eco driving courses and workshops which have been demonstrated to deliver tangible and sustainable fuel savings of around 10% for our customers.”
