Today's prestige, high performance cars offer the opportunity for thrills, excitement and fun. In addition, they can present significant driving challenges that can tax even the most experienced driver.

At DriveTech, we understand that high performance cars demand a high level of car control and mental agility to ensure that they are driven safety on public roads... while providing maximum enjoyment and personal safety for the driver and passengers.

Our high performance training focuses on driver attitude as well as driver skills (competencies). Using well-established driver coaching techniques, our trainers work with the driver to identify their strengths and weaknesses both on public roads and also in a track-based 'handling' session that includes skid control. Together, this provides the driver with the skills and knowledge to assess hazards effectively while maximising the potential of the vehicle.

DriveTech can also provide the additional option of driving performance cars at speeds in excess of the restrictions placed on British roads, through our relationship with the Transport Research Laboratory (TRL).

This session demonstrates practically how driving style can affect vehicle dynamics, how the driving line will need to change depending on whether the vehicle is front or rear wheel drive and the benefits - and limitations - of driver aids, such as traction control.

All delegates receive a typed report and certificate providing both a risk assessment and areas in need of improvement.
