Driver Awareness education is now offered throughout the UK as an alternative to prosecuting drivers for careless driving offences and/or imposing fines and penalty points. The National Driver Alertness Scheme course, a key course within the National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme (NDORS), aims to create safer communities and reduce the chances of you being involved in future incidents.
The Driver Alertness course takes one day to complete and the price will vary depending on the training venue location you choose. The course structure is:
- Morning classroom session
- On-road driving awareness session with a fully qualified instructor
- Working lunch involving a workbook exercise
- Feedback from instructor
- Return to classroom for a summary
