Every bus and coach driver must do 35 hours of periodic training every 5 years to keep their Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) to drive a bus or coach. Drivers who are compliant will have a Driver Qualification Card (DQC) as well as their personal driving licence.
Drivers can be fined up to £1,000 for driving professionally without Driver CPC.
Driver CPC training can be delivered in 3.5 or 7 hr courses usually to a maximum of 16 drivers. Training is often through classroom workshops but also on-road training is available.
We offer over 30 Driver CPC courses to bus and coach drivers. Our trainer network is across the UK to ensure we're always available. We offer courses during the week and at weekends.
