Lorry drivers play a vital role in the safe transportation of goods and services. Driver’s move everything from food to fuel, moving loads from depots, warehouses, distribution centres to shops, factories and businesses.
DriveTech is fully aware that driving is one of the most dangerous occupations that a person can do. About 30% of all miles driven on UK’s roads are by at-work vehicles. And that is why the transport sector in particular is one of the most heavily regulated industries.
Here at DriveTech we understand the challenges that individual drivers and their employers face on a daily basis. We have researched and designed a range of products that addresses these fundamental challenges to the working operation and eventual probability of a company. These include on-road training for both, incident prevention and fuel efficiency driving. Slow speed reversing and manoeuvring courses to address where a high percentage of insurance claims can occur. Tachograph and vehicle checking workshops for compliance and safety concerns. But more than ever the focus is now on the wellbeing of the drivers themselves, drivers are the biggest assets a company has. DriveTech has the learning outcomes that places the driver at the forefront.
DriveTech will help you identify your driving risks and recommend the optimum training. Our training sessions can be based on an individual driver’s needs or an agreed corporate strategy:
