• The 2022 Project EDWARD (Every Day Without a Road Death) campaign will launch between 19th and 25th September
  • This is the fifth year that Drivetech has participated in the event

First launched in 2016, Project EDWARD (Every Day Without a Road Death) is the UK’s largest platform for showcasing good practice in road safety. Managed by Projects Zero, it is backed by government, the emergency services, highways agencies, road safety organisations and British businesses. Highlights from last year’s campaign saw the launch of the first UK-wide National Safe Speed Day with police forces UK-wide. The campaign won a coveted Prince Michael International Road Safety Award in 2018.

The platform will launch this year’s campaign between 19th and 25th September, sharing good practices from all four UK nations to inspire better driving behaviours. The theme for 2022 is changing minds, changing behaviour.

Driving training specialist Drivetech, part of the AA, first chose to back Project EDWARD in 2018. “We are continuing to support Project EDWARD for the fifth year in a row for a number of reasons dear to our hearts as a business,” said Colin Paterson, head of marketing, Drivetech.

“The spirit and message of every day without a road death is one we wholeheartedly support in our own mission to deliver driver training, both to private motorists and fleets. We’ll certainly be supporting the campaign as much as we can.”

Drivetech is the world leader in fleet risk and driver safety management, including driver training. Its mission is ‘to work together to eliminate risk for a safer world’.
