Drivetech has won the award for Best Innovation at the 2022 Business Car Awards. The prestigious award recognises the contribution that our EV Co-Driver technology has made to the organisations that have adopted it.

Announcing the award, the judges commented: “We are at a landmark point in automotive history as we move to an alternative fuels future. Driver training should not be forgotten as part of this transition, in fact Drivetech believes that driver training and fleet safety will be a number one priority as fleets take the plunge. Its EV Co-Driver training programme has 17 modules to choose from.”

EV Co-Driver is a game-changing, immersive way to educate drivers on new technology and the best practices behind the wheel, EV Co-Driver provides a completely flexible, engaging approach to driver training via a series of short but sweet animations.

Charlie Norman, Drivetech Managing Director, said: “Businesses need to ensure drivers know the unique ways in which an EV operates, as well as its capabilities and limitations. Our training is an education for fleets in just this. Indeed, it is only with the right driver education that a fleet EV transition project will go smoothly and be successful.”

Jennifer Morris, head of commercial development at Drivetech collected our trophy at the Business Car Awards 2022, at the Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington, London.
