Lorry drivers, truck drivers, LGV drivers, HGV drivers. However you refer to them, they play a vital role in the safe transportation of goods and services. Drivers move everything from food to fuel, moving loads from depots, warehouses, distribution centres to shops, factories and businesses.
We understand the challenges that individual drivers and their employers face on a daily basis. We have researched and designed a range of products that are specifically designed to keep drivers of HGVs safe, from the start of their journey to the finish.
Fulfil your duty of care & Driver CPC obligations. Every professional driver must do 35 hours of periodic training every 5 years to keep their Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC). Drivers who are compliant will have a Driver Qualification Card (DQC) as well as their personal driving licence.
Our CPC courses aim to deliver a consistent, comprehensive and complete service. Our highly-qualified trainer network is across the UK to ensure we’re always available. Courses available online, at one of our venues or at client-specific sites – weekdays and weekends.

Did the course with Brian this morning in my UU van. He was great. He pointed out my observation has got a little sloppy so I’ll be mindful of that when driving and hopefully improve. He also gave me a few extra tips on reading the road from street furniture etc – Normally I just focus on lane markings etc. Thanks to UU for organising this, I feel the objective assessment will allow me to improve. If you’re collecting feedback on the instructors Brian gets full marks from me.

Why should I use Drivetech?

What lorry driver training levels do you offer?
We offer training for all types of HGV and Lorry fleets, this training can be online, on-road or workshop based.
What vehicle types do you work with?
We work with a variety of fleet types, including grey fleet, owned passenger cars, vans, SUVs and 4x4s, HGVs, and passenger carrying vehicles (PCVs) including buses, coaches and taxis.
Are Drivetech’s training and education on-road or digital?
Both! We’re delighted to offer a range of products that are on-road, digital/online and workshop-based. We’ll offer you a service that is most appropriate for your driving community.
Are your courses JAUPT-approved?
Drivetech is a JAUPT Approved Centre (Centre No: AC00032). Only approved courses taken with approved training centres will count towards periodic training.
Tell me more about your Driver CPC courses?
All courses in this section are JAUPT-approved and are available online or in a classroom. The courses are either 3.5 or 7 hours in length and can be mixed and matched to contribute towards your drivers’ 35 hours of periodic training.
