These award funds are intended for a worthy road safety cause or project in a UK Police territory/area and not for personal gain or reward. It is to recognise and celebrate good practice in road safety campaigning or practical road safety and road risk reduction measures taken as part of a programme or campaign, especially where the results can be identified and indicate a positive contribution to reducing road deaths and road collisions.

Police forces or affiliated road safety partnerships are encouraged to submit an entry which will be judged by a panel of judges from Drivetech and independent judges working in this sphere.

There is £5,000 for the winning entry (to be used proactively for new campaigning/tactical activity) and two runners-up awards of £1,500 each for use in the same manner.
