Fleet Risk Survey

A formal risk survey, or audit, of all ‘driving for work’ activities will help identify areas of risk and non-compliance. The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 gives employers a statutory duty of care obligation to assess the risks to the health and safety of their employees’ and that assessment ‘includes any driving activity on the road’.

Why do you need to focus on driver safety?

Effective management of work-related road safety helps reduce risk, no matter what size your organisation is. It could also result in, for example:

  • reduced risk of work-related ill health
